Training completion rates tell you who attended. CultureLens tells you who understood.

See what your people actually understand about privacy.

CultureLens is a short anonymous survey that reveals exactly where privacy awareness breaks down across your organisation — by location, function and team. Stop guessing. Start measuring.

The first platform to measure culture of privacy. Not just completion rates.

Platform value

Why CultureLens?

Measure training effectiveness—not just completion. Stop flying blind on data privacy literacy.

Most organisations are flying blind on data privacy culture.

Without CultureLens, you're relying on:

  • Anecdotal evidence from incidents — reactive insights that come too late
  • Generic training completion rates — metrics that don't reveal actual understanding
  • Gut feel about "how we're doing" — subjective assessments without data

CultureLens brings your actual culture of privacy into sharp focus.

Spot gaps before they turn into incidents

Reveal weak awareness and risky behaviours early, while there is still time to intervene calmly.

Focus training where it actually matters

See exactly which topics, teams, or roles need support, instead of relying on blanket programmes.

Target intervention, not noise

Magnify specific weak spots so effort and budget go where they make a difference.

See the full picture, not just averages

Understand how privacy awareness varies by team, location, and seniority, not just the headline score.

How to get the most from CultureLens

From Blurry Hunches to Crystal-Clear Action Plans

CultureLens is built to turn a small amount of input into a strong, usable signal. Each stage exists to answer a specific question privacy leaders wrestle with. Follow the steps from survey configuration through to ongoing pulse checks, with clear visuals and dashboards at every stage.

    Step 1
    What

    Configure your survey

    How

Apply your branding and select languages to match your global workforce.

    Why

Employees feel this is legitimate, safe, and worth answering. You start with trust, not resistance.

  2. 2
    Step 2
    What

    Launch & track progress

    How

Distribute your unique survey link and monitor response rates in real time. Use gentle engagement prompts to drive completion.

    Why

You can see engagement building without chasing people or creating friction. You know when you have enough signal to act.

  3. 3
    Step 3
    What

    Review rich dashboards

    How

Explore your culture of privacy scores, trends, and heatmaps across teams with interactive dashboards and drilldown views.

    Why

Uncertainty gives way to clarity. What worried you vaguely now has shape and scale.

  4. 4
    Step 4
    What

Magnify weak spots before incidents occur

    How

Spot low-awareness areas and emerging risks using team reports, benchmarks, and comparison views.

    Why

Risk is something you manage early, not explain later. You can act calmly instead of react under pressure.

  5. 5
    Step 5
    What

    Create an action plan

    How

Translate insights into targeted actions by aligning training, communications, and governance to specific gaps.

    Why

Effort feels proportionate and defensible. You are fixing the right things, not everything.

  6. 6
    Step 6
    What

Watch your Culture of Privacy sharpen over time

    How

Schedule pulse surveys or annual assessments to track whether your interventions are improving culture over time.

    Why

Progress is visible, not assumed. You can show improvement, not just hope for it.

Not just a survey - A lens into your culture of privacy

Since 2020, the Global Privacy Culture Survey has been tracking how privacy is understood and practiced inside organisations.

  • Not what policies say.
  • Not what training intends.
  • What people actually know, notice, and do.

This growing dataset now spans multiple years, sectors, and regions, revealing patterns that do not show up in one-off assessments.

It shows where privacy awareness holds under pressure, where it quietly erodes, and how uneven understanding often is within the same organisation.

What You Might Be Wondering

Let’s Address the Key Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started

CultureLens is available both as a self-service platform and as a "culture-as-a-service" offering. If you prefer more support, our team of privacy experts can help you interpret the data, prioritise risks, and design and implement action plans off the back of your results. Many organisations start with culture-as-a-service and then transition to self-service once they are confident using the insights day to day.

We've built engagement features directly into the platform. You can send gentle reminder prompts, track response rates in real time, and see which departments need encouragement. The whitelabel experience also helps-employees see your branding, not a generic survey tool.

The assessment itself takes about 10-15 minutes per employee. On your end, setup takes less than an hour: configure questions, add your branding, and send invitations. The platform handles everything else-data collection, analysis, and dashboard generation happen automatically. Most of your time is spent reviewing insights and creating action plans, not managing the process.

That’s common, and we’re set up for it. We offer a info-sec whitepaper to support with the onboarding process, we also make available a communications pack which has been carefully crafted to ensure maximum success in achieving engagement.

Whilst CultureLens is new as a self-service platform, the underlying methodology and approach has been used by organisations since 2020. We don't just measure-it guides action. Every dashboard includes specific recommendations based on your data. You'll see exactly which teams need training, which topics are weak spots, and how to prioritise interventions. We also track progress over time through pulse surveys, so you can measure whether your actions are working. Many organisations see measurable improvements within 6-12 months.

Absolutely, and that's why anonymity is non-negotiable. CultureLens collects responses in an anonymised format. Individual responses are never linked to specific employees, and we use privacy-preserving techniques to ensure no one can be identified. We're transparent about this in our communications, which actually builds trust rather than erodes it.

Training completion rates don't tell you if people actually understand or apply what they've learned. CultureLens measures real awareness and behaviour, not just attendance. You'll discover gaps between what you've taught and what's actually understood, allowing you to target training more effectively and prove its impact with data.

CultureLens collects responses in an anonymised format. Individual responses are never linked to specific employees, and we use privacy-preserving techniques to ensure no one can be identified. We're transparent about this in our communications, which actually builds trust rather than erodes it. Analysis is only ever performed on teams greater than 5 employees.

That's exactly why you need CultureLens-to see the truth before it becomes a problem. Low scores aren't a failure; they're an opportunity. The platform helps you identify specific, actionable steps to improve. Many organisations find that having data-driven evidence actually makes it easier to secure budget and executive support for privacy initiatives.
